After three sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium, the rapper adds extra stadium dates in the UK and California.
JAY-Z’s 30th anniversary celebration of his recording career continues to draw crowds. Following three sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium earlier this month, the rapper has added second dates at both London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.
In London, a new show on Saturday, September 5 joins the previously announced Friday, September 4 concert. In Los Angeles, Saturday, October 24 has been added alongside the existing October 23 date. A Paris date at Stade de France on September 10 remains on the calendar.
The demand isn’t surprising. Even without a new album to push, JAY-Z’s catalog and status as a live performer sustain this kind of run. Pre-sales for the new dates begin Wednesday, July 29, with O2 and Virgin Media customers getting early access in London, and Citi cardmembers in Los Angeles. General tickets go on sale Thursday, July 30 via Ticketmaster.
No opening acts have been announced, and no new music is promised. The draw is the catalog itself—and a chance to see a figure who has spent three decades shaping hip-hop’s commercial and artistic center.
