Quavo Confirms Plans for a Final Migos Album and Tour

Quavo has confirmed that Migos plan to release one final album and tour behind it, using existing recordings from Takeoff to complete the project. Speaking on New York radio station Hot 97, Quavo said he and Offset are preparing the record as a tribute to their late bandmate, who died in November 2022.

“At the same time, we missing the Rocket, so we want to make sure we honor him and make sure we have the right tools to make the music sound original as if he was here,” Quavo said. He framed the decision around the group’s remaining unreleased material: “We owe the fans at least the music. What he was working on and what we still had. The legacy must still go on.”

Since Takeoff’s death, Migos’ surviving members have mostly worked on solo careers, though Quavo and Offset have been seen in the studio together this year. No release date or tour routing has been announced. The comments arrive shortly before Quavo’s solo album Qrömelife, due 2 October.
