A$AP Rocky Returns to Australia and New Zealand With Five Arena Dates in December

The Don’t Be Dumb World Tour reaches Oceania for the first time in eight years, with five arena shows packed into under two weeks.

A$AP Rocky will perform in Australia and New Zealand for the first time in eight years this December, bringing his Don’t Be Dumb World Tour to five arenas across the region. Promoted by Live Nation, the run opens at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on December 5 and closes at Perth’s RAC Arena on December 17. In between: Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on December 9, Auckland’s Spark Arena on December 12, presented by Mai FM, and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 14.

Five cities in under two weeks. The routing reflects how arena rap touring has shifted toward compressed regional sprints rather than drawn-out international legs, and Oceania is usually the last territory to be added to those schedules, not the first.

The dates follow a European and UK stretch of 25 sold-out arena shows across 19 countries, tied to his fourth studio album, DON’T BE DUMB. That leg produced some measurable firsts: Rocky became the first rapper to headline eight arena shows across Central and Eastern Europe, and set sales benchmarks for a rap act in Greece, Zagreb, Belgrade and Sofia. Nightly, he paired new material with older catalog tracks, a format the Oceania shows are expected to follow.

The tour has also carried a second function. In Paris, Rocky presented his SS27 runway show, Anti War Global Economics, at Accor Arena hours before his sold-out concert at the same venue, in front of 6,000 guests.

Ticketing moves in stages. Artist presale, alongside Vodafone and Mastercard presales, opens October 14 at 12 p.m. local time, with more windows to follow. General sale starts October 16 at 1 p.m. local, and VIP packages are available.
