Angine de Poitrine Announces Fall Tour with Two Nights at Brooklyn Steel

The tour runs November 5 to December 11, with a double-header at the 1,800-capacity venue signaling a steady, understated rise.

Angine de Poitrine has mapped out a fall tour that starts November 5 in Toronto and closes December 11 in Portland, Oregon. The route includes two nights at Brooklyn Steel, a venue that tends to house acts with more than a fleeting local draw.

Playing back-to-back shows there is a concrete marker. The room holds roughly 1,800 and rarely plays host to filler. It tells you the band can fill it twice without stretching thin. Angine de Poitrine, whose name translates from French as angina pectoris, has been building a live following whose size now dictates the booking, not the other way around.

The routing itself is straightforward, hitting a number of cities that sit outside the standard coastal run. No elaborate staging, no album cycle hook announced alongside the dates. Just the tour. The two Brooklyn Steel nights do enough to frame where the group stands right now, without needing to spell anything out.
