Behemoth’s ‘I, Scvlptor’ Gets a Physical Edition Through Massacre Records

The Polish death metal band partners with the German label for a multi-format release of the ‘Opvs Contra Natvram’ track, including a limited box set.

Behemoth and Massacre Records have agreed on a deal to give “I, Scvlptor” a proper physical release. The track, originally from the band’s 2022 album “Opvs Contra Natvram,” has only lived on streaming platforms until now.

Massacre Records will issue it in several configurations. Details are thin, but a limited edition box set is confirmed as part of the rollout. The German label has spent decades handling metal reissues and special packages, so this sits comfortably in its catalogue.

The collaboration feels less like a random license and more like a careful match. Behemoth have always treated their visual and material output as an extension of the music. Massacre understands how to turn a single song into a collector’s item without inflating it into something it isn’t.

No date has surfaced for the release, and the box set’s contents remain unspecified. For now, it’s simply a sign that Behemoth’s recent work continues to find new ways to exist beyond a digital playlist.
