Tyler Dennen and Zakary Gibson step outside Sworn In with a new project and a first track.
The first release from Bliss by Proxy arrives less as a reintroduction than as a continuation by other means. Tyler Dennen and Zakary Gibson, both formerly of Sworn In, have shared the project’s debut single, “SKINSUIT,” along with an accompanying video.
The title suggests a deliberate break from the past, but the band’s public framing keeps the connection visible. Dennen’s voice and Gibson’s guitar work carried part of Sworn In’s identity through its active years; their presence here is the immediate draw.
Alongside the single, the band has also pointed toward 2026 with the phrase “The Death Card,” indicating that “SKINSUIT” is not an isolated drop. No further details about that next step have been confirmed.
The single is available now. Beyond that, the group has only offered “The Death Card” as a marker for what comes next.
