CBGB Festival Announces 2026 Lineup for Brooklyn Return

The single-day festival under the Kosciuszko Bridge will feature Morrissey, Patti Smith, Interpol, and a reunited Sex Pistols this September.

The CBGB Festival will return to Brooklyn’s Under The K Bridge Park on September 26. This year’s single-day event continues the brand’s pivot to large-scale outdoor programming, booking a lineup that leans on legacy acts with ties to the original club’s influential era.

Morrissey is scheduled as the headline act. He will be joined by Patti Smith, whose early poetry and music performances were foundational to the CBGB scene, and the currently touring iteration of the Sex Pistols. Interpol, representing a later wave of New York guitar music, rounds out the bill.

The festival model, now in its second Brooklyn edition, follows a similar curatorial pattern to its 2023 iteration. That event featured Iggy Pop, Jack White, and Johnny Marr, suggesting a focus on artists who channel a punk or post-punk spirit rather than a strict historical re-creation.
