COLORSxSTUDIOS Opens Permanent Brooklyn Space with Three Days of Free Programming

For nearly a decade, COLORSxSTUDIOS has built a global following through its signature single-take performance videos, filmed against monochrome backdrops and released weekly on YouTube. Until this month, its presence in the United States was entirely digital. That changed with the opening of a permanent studio in Brooklyn, the platform’s first physical space outside Berlin.

Rather than a conventional launch, COLORS staged TONES of NYC, three days of free public programming that turned the new Bushwick headquarters into an immediate community hub. Daytime sessions, in partnership with Half Moon and Ballantine’s, featured DJ sets organized by theme—hip-hop, open-format and electronic, Caribbean—with lineups including Jamesy, Godspeed, Noah G, Ken Dollaz, and Khalil. Evenings brought a Kelela album release party and a Summerstage takeover at Herbert Von King Park.

The closing night belonged to Infinity Song, the sibling quartet who delivered a performance preceded by a rare panel conversation with all four members. The programming underlined the platform’s long-standing emphasis on discovery and dialogue, now grounded in a physical location. COLORSxSTUDIOS has moved from a screen to a room, but the logic remains the same: connecting artists directly with an audience, no filter.
