The follow-up to 2023’s acclaimed ‘Raven’ trades fluid dreamscapes for a colder, more grounded sound built around bedrooms, street corners, and electric guitar.
The album, out today via Warp Records, features collaborations with PinkPantheress, A.K. Paul, and Fousheé, and finds Kelela pushing further past rigid categorisation.
The new single arrives just before New Avatar, a record that trades electronic R&B for the shoegaze and grunge of her early D.C. days.
