Fontaines D.C. Book Fall Headlining Shows at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and Hollywood Forever Cemetery

The band adds two standalone US dates around festival appearances, with pre-sale access opening August 25.

Fontaines D.C. have confirmed two US headlining performances for late September, separate from their already scheduled festival run. The band will play Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on September 21 and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery on September 25.

The dates sit between appearances at Sea.Hear.Now in New Jersey and Ohana Fest in California, giving the group rare standalone shows in major US cities ahead of their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, due October 16. The cemetery venue in particular moves the LA date outside the standard club circuit, offering a seated, open-air setting rather than a typical headline room.

The announcement follows the release of “Marianne,” the album’s lead single, which also received its live debut during what was billed as the final BBC Maida Vale session.

Pre-sale for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles shows begins Tuesday, August 25 at 10 a.m. local time. Registration through the band’s site closes Monday, August 24 at 6 p.m. ET. General sale opens Friday, August 28 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
