In Flames closed Göteborg Brinner at Frihamnen on Saturday, August 22, headlining a festival set in the city that shaped their early sound. The booking carried obvious local weight: In Flames remain one of the clearest reference points for the Gothenburg strain of melodic death metal, and the performance placed that history in a live festival context.
