The Irish punk artist will play the historic London venue in October as part of the Fifth Floor & DIY series. A new track, ‘Rags to Riches’, lands ahead of his third album.
Meryl Streek will headline a Fifth Floor & DIY show at London’s 100 Club on 8th October 2026. Support comes from London hardcore group Shooting Daggers. Early‑bird tickets are on sale now, priced at £12.
The concert continues a partnership between international promoters Fifth Floor and DIY. Fifth Floor began in Melbourne in 2013 with a secret warehouse show featuring The Murlocs, and has since staged unannounced events in the UK and Berlin with acts including Fat White Family and Carl Barat & The Jackals. Recent UK collaborations between the two organisations included a Heavy Lungs show in Bristol in January and a Manchester festival earlier this year.
The date lands one day before Streek releases his third album, Stories They Don’t Teach You At School, on 9th October via Venn Records. Today he shared a video for new single ‘Rags to Riches’, directed and shot by Peter Kingston. Streek said the track is about seizing opportunities: “I took a chance with this project and if I had never taken the jump I wouldn’t be here right now. Things aren’t always as hard as they seem. It’s about having the courage to let go of people holding you back and encouraging yourself that you can do it.”
