Noel Gallagher Stops Short of Confirming Oasis 2027 Summer Run

On talkSPORT, Noel Gallagher joked around the edges of another tour, leaving Knebworth speculation intact without official confirmation.

Noel Gallagher did not announce an Oasis tour on talkSPORT’s Drive, but he also did not close the door. Asked about reports of summer 2027 shows, he first batted the idea toward his brother. “It’s Liam, isn’t it? He’s not into it,” Gallagher said. When host Andy Goldstein noted that Liam had recently quit social media, Gallagher answered, “Well, then there must be something happening,” before adding a more concrete evasive line: “There’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”

That fallback is not confirmation. Oasis have officially said nothing about another run. The reporting includes persistent speculation that Knebworth could return, with the 1996 two-night stand for 250,000 people as the obvious precedent. Liam has already moved to cut down one part of the conversation, telling fans that a 2027 Glastonbury headline slot is “not happening.”

The wider machinery is already in motion. The reunion tour kept the band on the road through much of 2025, and Gallagher closed the London run by saying “See you next year!” The documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger reaches IMAX on Sept. 11 before Hulu and Disney+. Steven Knight’s framing, Liam and Noel sitting down together for the first time in 15 years, suggests there is more story to be managed, whether or not 2027 brings another stage.
