Stevie Nicks Will Attend Taylor Swift’s Madison Square Garden Wedding — and Might Perform

Sources confirm the Fleetwood Mac singer will be present for the July event, with speculation she may take the stage.

Stevie Nicks will be at Taylor Swift’s wedding, multiple sources tell Rolling Stone, and the rock singer is expected to perform during the celebration. The news follows a New York Times report that Swift and Travis Kelce have chosen Madison Square Garden for the July wedding, with events spread across two days: an intimate gathering of about 100 people on July 2, then a larger party for roughly 1,000 guests the next day.

The appearance formalizes a long, public mutual admiration. Nicks contributed a poem to the CD edition of The Tortured Poets Department last year, and Swift name-dropped her on the album’s final standard track, “Clara Bow.” The two have spoken often about the friendship—Swift told Stephen Colbert that having Nicks in her life “affects me positively constantly,” while Nicks praised Swift’s relationship with Kelce in a 2024 Rolling Stone interview, saying she hoped they would “get married and have babies if she wants that.”

The wedding booking adds another layer to a symbolic year. Earlier this month, Swift sat courtside at an NBA Finals game wearing a “Stevie Knicks” T-shirt—a nod to both the icon and the New York Knicks. Whether Nicks performs a full set or merely takes the mic for a moment, her presence at a venue so tied to live spectacle will be watched as a gesture both personal and generational.
