Young Thug Brings Out Camila Cabello, Ty Dolla $ign at Coachella

The rapper’s weekend two set featured live debuts and guest appearances, marking his first major festival performance since his legal troubles began.

Young Thug’s Coachella performance on Sunday served as a significant return to the stage. His set was built around guest appearances and live debuts, framed as a major festival moment following years of court dates and incarceration.

He performed “Havana” live for the first time since 2018, bringing out Camila Cabello for the collaboration. Later, he joined Ty Dolla $ign to celebrate the singer’s birthday with performances of “Carnival” and “Check.” NAV also appeared for a run through “Trimski.”

The production underscored the event’s scale, with drone lights and a custom jersey numbered 55. Thug opened the set solo with “Ski” and “Out West,” asserting his presence before the parade of guests began. The booking itself carried weight, positioning the rapper back in the center of pop culture during an ongoing legal process.
