The former black midi frontman continues to support The New Sound, with shows scheduled from Florida to Vancouver, plus a hint of new material.
Geordie Greep’s post-black midi chapter is set to stretch well into 2026. The London-based musician has confirmed a fall North American tour in ongoing support of his debut solo album, The New Sound, beginning September 11 in Pensacola and hitting more than two dozen cities across the US and Canada before closing in early November in Nijmegen.
The routing includes Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Denver, with a two-night stand at Los Angeles’ Lodge Room. Greep’s live schedule is already packed: a summer run across Europe and Australia begins in July, and he’ll open a handful of US dates for The Strokes in September, including stops in Tampa and Miami. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale June 26 via Ticketmaster.
The New Sound, released in October 2024, introduced a more theatrical and stylistically restless side of Greep’s writing, previewed with singles “Holy Holy” and “Blues.” In announcing the tour on Instagram, he hinted that more is coming, asking fans to “stay primed for more info in the coming days and weeks.” It’s a subtle signal that the solo project will not simply coast on its first album cycle.
