Nia Archives Enlists Jorja Smith for New Single ‘Get Me Down’

The track marks Nia Archives’ first-ever album feature and arrives ahead of her forthcoming project ‘Emotional Junglist’.

Nia Archives has shared details of a new single, ‘Get Me Down’, which features Jorja Smith. The track is the first fully fledged album collaboration from the Bradford-born producer and singer, and it precedes her next project, ‘Emotional Junglist’.

The pairing threads together two distinct strands of UK music: Archives’ instinct for rhythm and sub-bass pressure meets Smith’s soul-informed vocal clarity. Little else has been confirmed about the single’s sound or structure, but it plants a clear marker ahead of the wider record.

Archives has spent the last few years pushing jungle into new spaces without leaning on nostalgia. She produced, mixed, and mastered her previous work herself, and this next chapter seems built with the same autonomy. Bringing in Smith — an artist equally selective about features — signals a deliberate step rather than a casual guest spot.

‘Emotional Junglist’ is expected to deepen that self-directed path. ‘Get Me Down’ will be the first public look at how it takes shape.
