The one-day event marks its first edition since 2022, moving into EartH on 3 October with two stages and tickets starting at £30.
DIY Magazine is reactivating its DIY Alive festival on 3 October, planting a single-day bill across both stages of Dalston venue EartH. The 2026 edition ends a four-year pause after the inaugural event in 2022, and arrives in partnership with Gotobeat.
Headlining the day are Sports Team, a band that first appeared on one of the magazine’s live bills nearly a decade ago. They’re joined by Irish singer-songwriter Nell Mescal, Coventry post-punk outfit FEET, and Glaswegian alt-rock four-piece Walt Disco. The selection leans into acts with a certain live restlessness—no single genre dominates, but the common thread is stage energy over studio politeness.
Further names and programming—talks, Q&As, and other activities—are expected in the coming weeks. For now, the four-act core gives the day a loose, circuit-facing shape, connecting artists at slightly different points in their trajectories. Tickets are available through Gotobeat and DICE, priced at £30 plus fees.
