Renny Conti Confirms New Album ‘Split Second’, Out September 25

The Brooklyn songwriter’s Mom+Pop debut follows his 2025 breakthrough, and arrives early with the track “Impossible Truth.”

Renny Conti’s 2025 debut brought him to wider attention, and Mom+Pop moved quickly to sign him. Now, the Brooklyn artist is set to release his follow-up, Split Second, on September 25.

The album title stems from a moment of sudden clarity. “I had a moment of clarity on a pier that things change,” Conti says. “Our surroundings change, our relationships change, our habits change, and they all change very suddenly at that.”

New song “Impossible Truth” surfaces as an early indication of the record. It’s soothing and poetic, with a hazy, pop-edged sound that blurs lines between indie and folk. The track pairs personal reflection with something curiously surreal.

Conti will perform at End of the Road festival this summer, and headlines London’s Lexington on September 10, two weeks before Split Second lands.
