A $500 ticket mix-up is at the center of a new trademark lawsuit from Christian metal band Demon Hunter against Netflix, Netflix Studios, and AEG Presents.
The suit, filed by the band’s corporation Hyde Lane, targets KPop Demon Hunters, the animated film franchise whose upcoming arena tour, soundtrack, and merchandise are named in the complaint. Demon Hunter argue the name overlap has already caused confusion. The filing cites one family who bought $500 worth of tickets to a Demon Hunter concert, believing they were buying seats for a KPop Demon Hunters show for their two young daughters.
