NBC has locked the first four musical guests for Saturday Night Live’s 52nd season, moving from K-pop and hardcore to Spanish pop and confessional songwriting.
NBC has announced the first block of musical guests for the 52nd season of Saturday Night Live, which starts September 26. The opening month moves quickly between scenes: K-pop, hardcore, Spanish pop, and songwriter-driven material in four consecutive episodes.
KATSEYE will make their SNL debut on the season premiere, with Jalen Brunson hosting. Turnstile follows on October 3 for the band’s first appearance, on an episode hosted by Dakota Johnson. October 10 brings Rosalía back to the show for a second time, with Shane Gillis hosting. On Halloween, Gracie Abrams returns for her second SNL set, alongside host Inde Navarrette.
The booking mix continues a gradual widening of the show’s musical filter. Season 51 ran from September 2025 to May 2026 and included Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, Dijon, and Olivia Rodrigo. This next stretch pushes into harder and more specific corners, placing Turnstile’s live intensity and KATSEYE’s pop rise far from older default modes.
NBC has not detailed later bookings, but the first four slots already define a broader, less predictable lane for music on the show.
