Gnarls Barkley Announce First North American Tour in 18 Years

Gnarls Barkley will return to the road this November for their first tour in 18 years. CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse announced the “To Whom It Still Concerns Tour,” a nine-date North American run opening November 5 at The Masonic in San Francisco and closing November 28 at House of Blues in Chicago.

The itinerary includes Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Silver Spring, Toronto, and New York. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, September 24 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Citi and Spotify Reserved presales begin September 21, followed by an artist presale September 23. Fans registering for the artist presale must do so by Sunday, September 20 at 10 p.m. ET.

The tour follows the March release of Atlanta, the duo’s third and final album and first full-length since 2008’s The Odd Couple. The record arrived nearly two decades after their original run produced “Crazy,” “Going On,” and “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?” It was preceded earlier this year by “Pictures,” their first new studio song in 18 years.

Green described the dates as a way to explore “the universal matters of life, death and everything in between,” framing the songs as “the silver lining to an otherwise sad story.”
