Azealia Banks says she has moved to Tel Aviv. She announced the relocation on X this week with a photo of what appears to be her new home in the city, writing, “Moving in,” and noting that anyone who had predicted it years ago would have struck her as crazy.
In a follow-up post she said she is working on a new album and that Israel’s arts scene has made the work easier, describing it as mature and free of the withheld stems and grudges she has run into elsewhere. She also said people there think her politics are bad and her taste in men worse, but that nobody is trying to sabotage her for either.
