Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Show Hours Before Doors Over Security Threat

The country singer called off her BOK Center date on the advice of local authorities and her security team, with no further detail released.

Ella Langley’s Friday night show at Tulsa’s BOK Center was called off hours before doors opened, after what the singer described as a serious security threat involving her fans, the venue staff and her team.

Langley announced the cancellation on social media, saying the decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, her own security team and venue personnel. She apologized directly to ticket holders, acknowledging the time, travel and money that go into attending a show, and said safety would take priority over the performance itself. The venue issued its own statement confirming the show could not proceed, adding that refund information would be shared soon.

The announcement arrived with little detail attached: no description of the threat, no word on whether the date will be rescheduled. What remains is a room full of people who had already made arrangements to be there.

The cancellation lands near the end of Langley’s Dandelion headlining tour, which began in May and concludes Oct. 31 at Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose. Langley has filled every opening slot on the run with women, among them Kaitlin Butts, Avery Anna, Laci Kaye Booth and Madeline Edwards. Booth was scheduled to open in Tulsa.
