The new festival Yours Always, set to bring Gen Z pop heavyweights Benson Boone and Sombr to Salt Lake City this October, was canceled on Friday before ever leaving the ground. The two-day event at Utah State Fairpark, with Boone headlining Friday and Sombr on Saturday, was pulled less than five weeks after tickets first went on sale. The festival’s website and social accounts were taken offline, and refund emails to ticketholders cited “unforeseen circumstances” without elaboration.

Yours Always had assembled a bill that leaned heavily on streaming-era reach, with supporting acts including Stephen Sanchez, Labrinth, Joshua Bassett, Daniel Seavey, and BØRNS. But a lineup frontloaded with two commercially ascendant but not yet proven arena-level headliners may have struggled to move enough tickets for a new multi-day outdoor event in that market. The festival’s abrupt disappearance and the lack of any official statement suggest quick dissolution rather than postponement.
