Boy George Turns to AI for Pro-Israel Reggae Song

Boy George has shared a new reggae song, “We Will Dance Again,” created using AI. The track, posted to his social media accounts on Sunday, opens by dismissing claims of genocide in Gaza — “You say genocide, I say war” — and later criticizes musicians who have spoken out against Israel. The title echoes a documentary on the October 7 Hamas attack at the Nova music festival.

In a Threads post, Boy George explained he wrote the song with AI, calling it “AI for good” and saying he would “struggle to write this with a human.” He recently revealed plans to use AI to re-record his old hits, making this the latest in a series of AI-assisted projects. The song is not available on streaming platforms.

The move contrasts sharply with his 1984 Culture Club single “The War Song,” which declared “war is stupid.” Now, he frames his position as personal loyalty to Jewish friends,
