The singer launched his first major headline tour in nearly a decade with a 26-song set at Allegiant Stadium.
Bruno Mars began his first full headline tour in almost ten years on Friday night in Las Vegas. The show at Allegiant Stadium marked the start of The Romantic Tour, a global run of nearly 80 dates.
Backed by a twelve-piece band, Mars performed a twenty-six song set. It drew from his new album, *The Romantic*, and integrated major hits like “24K Magic” and “Uptown Funk.” The performance also featured a guest appearance from Anderson .Paak. Together they played a selection of songs from their 2021 collaborative project as Silk Sonic.
The tour’s scale and its focus on a full live band presentation signal a return to large-scale touring for Mars after a long period of residencies and collaborative work. The setlist suggests a balance between new material and the pop-funk repertoire that has defined his career.
