BTS Opens World Tour with New Album Focus and Deep Cuts

The group began their 2026-2027 tour in Goyang with a set heavily featuring the ‘ARIRANG’ album alongside revived fan favorites.

BTS launched their 2026-2027 world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on April 9. The concert presented a clear statement of their current chapter, built substantially around material from their new album ‘ARIRANG’.

The set opened with the album’s tracks “Hooligan” and “Aliens”. It then moved through a mix of new live debuts, including “they don’t know ’bout us” and “Merry Go Round”, and older singles like “FAKE LOVE”. A notable moment was the revival of “Not Today”, a song not performed since 2022, signaling a deliberate look back at their catalog.

This tour kickoff follows the group’s recent reunion activities, positioning the live show as the primary vehicle for the ‘ARIRANG’ era. The setlist balances new album immersion with selective crowd pleasing cuts, defining the initial shape of a global tour expected to run for over a year.
