The band performed songs from the forthcoming ‘Hum Of Hurt’ at their Cleveland tour opener, integrating new work into a set heavy with recent material.
Converge introduced songs from their newly announced second album of 2026 during the opening night of their current tour in Cleveland. The performance at the House Of Blues last Thursday featured the live debut of material from ‘Hum Of Hurt’, scheduled for release later this year.
The band’s setlist heavily incorporated tracks from ‘Love Is Not Enough’, the album they released in February. This focus on new work from both records reflects a continued period of productivity for the group, their first proper album in nearly a decade having arrived just months before this follow-up was announced.
A video of the Cleveland show documents the early live versions of the new songs. For a band with a deep catalog, the current tour prioritizes their most recent creative output, presenting the two albums as a connected body of work.
