Crawlers Announce New EP ‘LIVE WITH THIS’ With Single ‘BIRTHDAY’

Crawlers’ last EP, TURN OFF THE TV, was built around grief and loss. LIVE WITH THIS, the band’s four-track follow-up, works in the opposite direction. The EP arrives November 13 through Nettwerk, announced with opener and video “BIRTHDAY.”

Holly Minto frames the single around a specific kind of disconnection—one that sharpens around birthdays, days that are supposed to feel special but often don’t. “It touches on feeling alone even when surrounded by people,” Minto says, “but also finding comfort in knowing this is a shared, generational struggle.” Beneath the loss of innocence, the song reaches for something warmer: small memories, visibility, love.

The remaining tracks move across different terrain. “BORN SCREAMING” pairs grunge riffs with an ironic “fuck it” to another 24 hours. “DIRTY PARTS OF HEAVEN” looks back at intense dancefloor and bathroom-stall connections while questioning whether alcohol or other vices created that thrill. “SURE OF IT” closes the record as a call to stop fighting and walk forward.

Minto traces the band’s current confidence back to its roots—a shed in Warrington—but with more certainty about what matters. Crawlers headline London’s Village Underground on November 20.
