Frankie Valli Cancels 2026 Dates, Citing Health

The 92-year-old singer steps away from the road for the rest of the year. His team says a return is planned for 2027.

Frankie Valli will not perform the rest of his scheduled 2026 concerts. The decision, announced Friday, comes as the 92-year-old singer takes time to address his health. A brief statement apologized directly to ticket holders and made clear this is not a full stop. “I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health,” Valli wrote. “I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon.”

Valli’s representative, Victoria Varela, told Variety that the singer is not retiring. She emphasized that he intends to return to the stage in 2027. That distinction matters. At an age when most voices have long been silent, Valli has kept a startlingly active road schedule, performing the Four Seasons catalog and his solo hits for decades without a real pause. The 2026 dates were part of that long thread.

Canceling an entire year of shows is rare for him, and the language around it stays practical. No dramatic exit. No drawn-out farewell. Just a performer who built a career on one of the most recognizable falsettos in pop acknowledging that recovery needs time. The road, for now, will wait.
