Genesis Owusu Details Album With New Track “LIFE KEEPS GOING”

The third Genesis Owusu album now has a release date and a clearer shape. REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE arrives May 15 via OURNESS, and the latest single doubles down on the propulsive energy that has defined the project’s early rollout.

“LIFE KEEPS GOING” is a high-tempo cut built around a determined levity. Owusu says the song comes from a place of endurance: “The world hasn’t ended yet. We’re still moving, we’re still jumping, we’re still living, and so we shall continue. Through rain, shine, exploitation and warfare. We, the people, will always stubbornly persist, and hopefully persist hand in hand.”

The track follows “PIRATE RADIO,” “DEATH CULT ZOMBIE,” and February’s “STAMPEDE,” each pushing a distinct kind of forward motion. Together they sketch an album that refuses to sit still, even as it processes heavy themes. With the full project a month away, the pieces are locking into place with unusual clarity.
