Iceage Perform Four Songs from For Love of Grace & the Hereafter on The Adam Friedland Show

Iceage stopped by The Adam Friedland Show for a four-song set on the program’s Unplugged series. The performance drew entirely from the band’s latest album, For Love of Grace & the Hereafter, with “Star,” “The Weak,” “Ember,” and “Tender Blades” all making the cut.

The set was billed as unplugged, but the band kept things amplified and direct—no acoustic detour, just a compact run through newer material. That contrast fits Iceage’s approach: the songs stay lean and physical even when the format suggests otherwise.

For Love of Grace & the Hereafter arrived this year, and the group will support it with a spring tour across 2027. The television appearance gives the album another live reading before those dates, without the distance of a festival stage or club set.

No new material was previewed. The focus stayed on the current record, performed in a setting that allowed the band to present the songs on their own terms.
