Mac Miller’s The Divine Feminine to Get 10th Anniversary Reissue With Unreleased Songs

A deluxe edition of the 2016 album arrives October 2 on Warner, featuring three previously unreleased tracks including the long-leaked “Butterflies.”

Mac Miller’s The Divine Feminine will return this fall as a 10th anniversary deluxe edition. The reissue is due October 2 on Warner and adds three previously unreleased tracks to the 2016 album. One of them, “Butterflies,” has circulated as a leak for years but is now being made available through official channels.

The original record arrived after Miller had begun moving away from the sound that defined his early career. Following 2015’s GOOD: AM, The Divine Feminine presented a more melodic and spiritually themed side of his writing, built around concepts of feminine energy. It featured Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, and Ariana Grande, and it helped cement Miller’s place among the Los Angeles hip-hop and soul circles he was working in at the time.

Miller’s estate handled a similar 10th anniversary reissue of GOOD: AM last year. The announcement of this edition continues that approach, keeping the album in circulation with material that has not previously had a proper release.
