The Flint rapper returns with The World Is Yours on September 11, alongside the new single “Finna Drop (Tour).”
Rio Da Yung OG has set a release date for his next album. The Michigan rapper’s forthcoming LP, The World Is Yours, is due September 11 via M.I.N.E. Ent. / EMPIRE. A full tracklist has not been shared, but the announcement arrives with a new song, “Finna Drop (Tour),” and a video built around his current US run.
The single continues a dense stretch for Rio since his release from federal prison in 2024. Last year he returned with two full-length projects: Rio Free, led by the first-day-out freestyle that gave the album its name, and F.L.I.N.T., subtitled Feeling Like I’m Not Through. That output made clear he was not easing back into the scene, and The World Is Yours now becomes the next step.
The new music also lands while Rio is on tour, with the “Finna Drop (Tour)” visual drawing directly from the road. No further details about the album have been confirmed, but the announcement positions it as part of a broader, ongoing campaign rather than a standalone drop.
