Olivia Rodrigo Brings Her Album Era to Taco Bell and the Grammy Museum

A pink Baja Blast and a museum exhibition pull Rodrigo’s handmade visual world into two very different public spaces.

Olivia Rodrigo’s current album cycle is expanding beyond music into spaces that rarely share a calendar entry. On Aug. 29, Taco Bell will debut “You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast,” a pink lemonade version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast tied to you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. Rodrigo, who calls Baja Blast one of her favorite drinks, will be at the first sip event during the Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California. The drink gets a wider limited run on Sept. 24, with a Freeze version staying exclusive to Live Más Cafés.

The same month, the Grammy Museum opens “Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled,” presented by American Express, on Sept. 2. It runs through Feb. 22, 2027. The exhibition focuses on the video for “the cure,” directed by Cat Solen and Jaime Gerin, and includes Rodrigo’s nurse costume, the miniature operating room, beating felt heart, original storyboards, and behind-the-scenes photography. Interactive installations accompany the handmade props. A launch event on Sept. 1 pairs Rodrigo in conversation with Cameron Crowe, plus a live performance.

Rodrigo says she grew up visiting the Grammy Museum, so the exhibit feels like a full-circle moment. An expanded version with previously unseen artifacts from her career is planned for early fall. Taco Bell Rewards members get another entry point on Sept. 29 with a Pretty Pink Picnic Kit as a Tuesday Drop. Together, the two projects show an artist packaging a deliberately tactile era at both ends of the cultural spectrum.
