The K-pop group’s ninth EP debuts at No. 4, driven by strong physical sales, while Sturgill Simpson’s new project also charts high with a physical-only strategy.
P1Harmony has secured its highest position yet on the Billboard 200, with the new EP ‘UNIQUE’ entering the chart at No. 4. The project earned 58,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with pure album sales comprising 56,000 of that total.
The group’s commercial performance highlights the continued strength of physical sales in the K-pop market. The EP’s title track incorporates Brazilian funk influences, a stylistic pivot that appears to have resonated with the group’s fanbase.
The week’s chart also featured a notable debut directly above P1Harmony. ‘Mutiny After Midnight,’ the first album from Sturgill Simpson’s new alias Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds, landed at No. 3 with 59,000 units. In a deliberate move, the album was released exclusively on physical formats, meaning its entire first-week total came from pure sales.
Harry Styles maintains the No. 1 spot for a second week with ‘Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.’
