Raavi Return With “Second Thoughts”

The New York indie-pop trio’s first new track since 2024’s The Upside EP is a slow-building, meditative piece centered on Raavi Sita’s vocals.

Raavi have released their first new music since last year’s The Upside EP. The New York indie-pop band returned Friday with “second thoughts,” a sprawling track that moves at its own pace and puts Raavi Sita’s voice at the center.

The song opens in a relaxed, meditative register, with Sita singing about jealousy, wine, and skinny dipping over understated instrumentation. As the track unfolds, the guitars shift from restraint into a more urgent, layered turn, building around her without crowding the vocal. The result is less a return to form than a continuation of the band’s patient, melodic approach.

A music video for “second thoughts” was directed by fellow musician Nara Avakian. The single arrives as the first indication of new material on the way, though no further details have been announced.
