The band’s first Australian shows since 2012 and first Japan performances since 2016 are set for May and June, with registration required for ticket access.
Radiohead have confirmed a new run of headline shows across Australia and Japan, extending the live approach they used during a series of European residencies late last year.
The itinerary includes multi-night stays in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in May, followed by five performances at GMO Arena in Saitama in June. It marks the band’s first Australian appearances since November 2012 and their first in Japan since Summer Sonic in 2016.
The tour follows in-the-round European shows where the group drew from across its catalogue, including multiple nights at the O2 Arena in London.
To limit resale activity, fans must register through radiohead.com. Registration opens on Monday September 7 at 3:00PM AWST, 4:00PM JST and 5:00PM AEST. Ticket handling is managed by Frontier Touring in Australia and eplus in Japan.
The Australian leg includes RAC Arena in Perth, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and Afterpay Arena in Sydney before the band moves to Saitama.
