Two decades after it broke them into mainstream rock, Louder Now is returning in a form that adds texture rather than noise. Taking Back Sunday have confirmed a 20th anniversary edition of the album, packaging the original tracklist with a clutch of previously released B-sides and pressing it across multiple colour vinyl variants for different retailers.

The 2006 release, the band’s major-label debut, marked a shift in scale rather than sound. Songs like “MakeDamnSure” and “Liar (It Takes One to Know One)” tightened the Long Island group’s melodic instincts without dulling the edges, and the album’s commercial reach set a precedent few of their emo-era peers could match. This reissue doesn’t attempt to reframe that moment — it simply makes the peripheral material a little more permanent.
