Woman Charged in Alleged Stalking and Attack on Lindsey Buckingham

A woman has been charged with multiple felonies, including assault and stalking, following an alleged years-long campaign targeting the former Fleetwood Mac guitarist.

A woman has been formally charged with stalking and attacking Lindsey Buckingham. The felony complaint, filed in Los Angeles County, outlines a series of alleged incidents spanning from late 2021 to this March.

Michelle Dick faces seven criminal counts. These include making criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon involving a car, and vandalism to Buckingham’s vehicle on March 19. She is also charged with assault for allegedly throwing an unidentified substance at the musician in Santa Monica on March 25. A restraining order was already in place at the time of that incident.

Buckingham’s response is noted in the court documents. He stated, “I am terrified,” regarding the alleged stalking. The case moves the matter from reported news into the legal system, highlighting the persistent threats public figures can face.
