Yung Miami’s debut solo album, Watch Dis, lands October 23 with 21 tracks and features spanning Miami rap, R&B, dancehall, and Afrobeats. The rollout began with a trailer built around the criticism she has taken.
Yung Miami’s debut solo album, Watch Dis, arrives October 23 with 21 tracks, led by the singles “F U” and “2008.” The tracklist, revealed this week, confirms a guest roster that runs from Miami’s founding generation to the Caribbean and West Africa.
The rollout started with a trailer she posted on September 30. It opens with the criticism she has absorbed publicly, including Joe Budden’s commentary and Akademiks telling her the music she made is “wack,” before she answers in her own voice: “I don’t know how some days I built the courage to go in the studio to even record. But I remember putting all my emotions, all of that energy, everything that I felt, into this album.”
That framing is the point. The record is positioned as a reply, and the tracklist backs it up as a statement of range rather than a safe return: “Dade County” with Rick Ross, Trina and Trick Daddy, “Ride for You” with Summer Walker, “Just Might Go” with Travis Scott, and a “Spend Dat International Remix” gathering Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel around the song that already carried her solo run.
The album follows the City Girls’ split two years ago, after 2023’s RAW, the last full-length under that name. In the interim Miami hosted Careesha Please, which aired its final season in 2024. “I could’ve come back with one song and played it safe, but why?” she said in a statement. “I’m confident in what I made.”
