The musicians performed together for the first time in years at a Los Angeles benefit show, playing the classic “It’s So Easy.”
Four key figures from the classic Guns N’ Roses lineup shared a stage in Los Angeles this week. Guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan were joined by former drummer Steven Adler and one-time touring guitarist Gilby Clarke for a surprise performance.
The reunion occurred at a benefit for musician Stephen Perkins. The group, alongside Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe on vocals, played the ‘Appetite for Destruction’ track “It’s So Easy.” Adler and Clarke have not performed with Slash and McKagan in a professional capacity in many years.
This impromptu collaboration stands separate from the current Guns N’ Roses touring configuration, which features Slash and McKagan alongside Axl Rose. The event was a one-off for charity, not signaling any broader reactivation of the older lineup. It served as a notable moment for longtime followers of the band’s history.
