The band has moved Detroit and Toronto shows to April, with frontman Barry Johnson aiming to return for a Chicago date this weekend.
Joyce Manor has postponed two shows on their current tour after singer Barry Johnson suffered a torn vocal cord. The affected dates are last night’s set at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto and tonight’s scheduled performance at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit.
Both shows have been rescheduled for late April, coinciding with the next leg of the tour. Detroit is now set for April 23, with Toronto following on April 24.
The band is hoping Johnson recovers in time for their planned show at Chicago’s Salt Shed this Saturday. That performance is meant to close out this current stretch of touring in support of their January album, “I Used To Go To This Bar”.
