A track from BTS’s 2022 anthology album, currently exclusive to its deluxe vinyl edition, is the subject of a fan-led campaign for wider digital release.
A fan campaign is urging BTS and their label to release the song “Come Over” on major streaming platforms. The track is currently only available as part of the deluxe vinyl edition of the group’s 2022 anthology album, “Proof.”
This creates a specific access barrier, as the physical collector’s item is the sole source for the recording. The fan-driven effort, visible across social media, highlights a recurring tension in music distribution between exclusive physical artifacts and the expectation of universal digital availability.
While not an official single, “Come Over” is a reworked version of the traditional Korean folk song “Arirang.” Its placement as a vinyl-only bonus track was likely a deliberate incentive for the physical format. The campaign reflects how fan communities now actively participate in shaping the archival and accessibility policies around an artist’s catalog.
