Offset Injured in Shooting at Florida Casino

The Migos rapper was shot in the leg outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

Migos rapper Offset was shot in the leg on Saturday, April 6, outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. A spokesperson for the artist confirmed to Pitchfork that he was hospitalized and receiving medical care, stating his condition was stable.

The Seminole County Police reported the incident occurred in the casino’s valet area. Police were immediately on scene and detained two individuals. Authorities stated the situation was contained quickly and there is no ongoing threat to the public, with an investigation still active.

This violent incident follows the 2022 killing of Takeoff, Offset’s cousin and Migos co-founder, who was shot and killed in Houston. The Atlanta trio, once a defining force in hip-hop, formally disbanded last year.
