Anyma’s Coachella Debut Canceled by Severe Wind

The producer’s highly anticipated midnight set was called off due to unsafe conditions, halting the premiere of a new audiovisual project.

Anyma’s planned Coachella debut was canceled on the festival’s opening night. Severe wind conditions made the structural elements of his stage unsafe, forcing a last-minute decision.

The festival and artist issued a joint statement, citing safety as the priority. Anyma commented on social media, expressing disappointment and explaining his team had worked for a year on the show. He indicated efforts were underway to find an alternative solution.

The cancellation meant the intended premiere of his new audiovisual project, ÆD, was postponed. The incident highlights the logistical vulnerabilities of large-scale production design in outdoor festival environments, where weather remains an uncontrollable factor.
