The Connecticut metalcore band announces ‘Embrace The Black Light,’ their first new LP since 2004, and shares the track “Meat For The Beast.”
100 Demons will release their first new album in 22 years this spring. The Connecticut band, a foundational force in late 90s metalcore, has announced ‘Embrace The Black Light.’
The group’s reputation rests on two albums, 2000’s ‘Eyes Of The Lord’ and their 2004 self-titled record, which are now regarded as genre landmarks. After a long hiatus, they have recently returned to play festival sets, signaling a renewed activity that now culminates in new material.
The album was produced by Greg Thomas of END and Misery Signals, who also engineered it. A first single, “Meat For The Beast,” is now available. The track confirms the band’s commitment to the dense, punishing sound that defined their earlier work.
This return places 100 Demons back into a contemporary hardcore landscape that continues to draw heavily from the era they helped define. The new album arrives as a direct continuation of their recorded legacy, bypassing any trend-driven reinvention.
