Naima Adams Announces Debut EP, Offers ‘How Long Till I Know?’

The South London singer threads jazz, alt-soul, and Brazilian influences into a light, self-assured single ahead of her first EP.

South London vocalist Naima Adams will release her debut EP, When We Let Go, on May 27th. The announcement arrives alongside a new single, ‘How Long Till I Know?’, out now. Adams made her festival debut at Cross The Tracks last year and has since played a string of city shows, refining a style that moves freely between jazz, alt-soul, folk, and Brazilian music.

‘How Long Till I Know?’ leans toward a bossa-adjacent lightness. The arrangement stays sparse, built around a steady rhythm and an unhurried vocal that carries genuine warmth without tipping into sentimentality. It’s a carefully weighted piece of songwriting, drawing on Adams’ varied influences without overcomplicating the mood.

The EP release will be marked the same evening at East London’s Waiting Room, where Adams continues to translate her studio work into a live setting. The single offers a clear picture of her approach: grounded, melodic, and quietly confident.
