Connor Tomlinson danced onstage with Kid LAROI in Atlanta, and Madison Marilla joined Zac Brown Band on morning television. For a few cast members, the music world is no longer just a backdrop.
Earlier this month, Netflix put out the fourth season of Love On The Spectrum, the dating show centered on adults with autism. But on Tuesday night in Atlanta, one of its most recognizable faces stepped into a different kind of spotlight. During Kid LAROI’s set at the Coca-Cola Roxy, the Australian artist brought out Connor Tomlinson to dance alongside him during “Stay,” his 2021 hit with Justin Bieber. Tomlinson moved on a stage usually reserved for touring professionals, not reality TV cast members, and the crowd in the show’s home city responded.
The moment wasn’t a one-off bit of fan service. Tomlinson won’t appear in the next season of the series, but his orbit around music has been growing quietly. Last fall, he and castmate Tanner Smith met Ariana Grande, who told them, “Thank you for bringing so much light to everyone’s lives.” He’s also preparing to host a history-themed podcast, a step that suggests he’s building his own platform beyond the show’s structure.
This crossover isn’t happening in isolation. Last July, Madison Marilla, another cast member, appeared with Zac Brown Band on The Today Show. The country group welcomed her onstage for a brief, warm introduction. The band’s frontman told her, “So good to meet you,” in a clip that made the rounds among fans of the series. These interactions are small, but they point to something real: a handful of Love On The Spectrum cast members are being invited into music spaces on their own terms, not as educational props, but as people whose presence seems to genuinely matter to the artists involved.
